Effective Date: May 22, 2026

We Do Not Sell Your Data. Ever.

GoTech.us does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer any personally identifiable information to third parties for commercial purposes. Your information exists solely to allow us to provide and improve our services to you.

1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to respond to your inquiries and deliver our services.

Information you provide directly:

  • Name and company name
  • Email address and phone number
  • Details about your IT environment submitted through our quote request form (device counts, firewall platform, Linux distribution, etc.)
  • The content of messages or questions you send us

Information collected automatically:

  • Standard web server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) — retained for security and operational purposes only
  • A session cookie used exclusively for CSRF (cross-site request forgery) protection on our contact form — it contains no personal information and expires when your browser session ends

We do not use analytics platforms, advertising trackers, or third-party pixel tracking of any kind.

3. How We Use Your Information

Information you submit is used solely for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your quote request or inquiry
  • To assess your IT environment and prepare a relevant service proposal
  • To communicate with you about your account or active services
  • To deliver contracted IT support or security services
  • To analyze network and security log data submitted by clients using automated and machine learning-based systems for the purpose of detecting threats, identifying attack vectors, anomalous activity, and security policy violations — as further described below
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations

Automated processing of client log data:

As part of our managed security services, clients may transmit or upload network logs, firewall event logs, endpoint telemetry, and related operational data to GoTech.us systems. This data is processed by machine learning models and automated analytical systems operated exclusively by GoTech.us for the purpose of:

  • Identifying known and emerging attack vectors, including but not limited to intrusion attempts, lateral movement, command-and-control communications, and data exfiltration patterns
  • Detecting anomalous network behavior indicative of compromise or policy violation
  • Correlating threat indicators across log sources to improve detection accuracy
  • Generating actionable security alerts and recommendations delivered to the client

This automated processing is performed solely in furtherance of the contracted security service and does not result in decisions that produce legal or significant effects on any individual. Log data processed in this manner is not used to build advertising profiles, is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes, and is subject to the 30-day retention limit described in our Terms & Conditions. Clients retain all rights to their log data; GoTech.us processes it solely as a data processor acting on the client's behalf.

We do not use your information for marketing to third parties, behavioral profiling, or automated decision-making that produces legal or significant effects on individuals.

4. We Do Not Sell Your Data

GoTech.us does not sell, rent, license, or otherwise provide your personal information to any third party in exchange for monetary or other consideration. This applies to all information collected through this website, our contact forms, and any service engagement.

We are not in the business of data brokerage. Your information has one purpose: helping us serve you.

5. Information Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service delivery: If a service engagement requires coordination with a third-party vendor or platform (e.g., a cloud provider you already use), we will inform you and share only the minimum information necessary.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or lawful request from a government authority.
  • Protection of rights: We may disclose information to protect the security or integrity of our systems or to defend against legal claims.

In all cases, we share the minimum information required. We do not have advertising partners, affiliate data-sharing arrangements, or data resale relationships of any kind.

6. Cookies

This website uses a single session cookie for CSRF protection on our contact form. This cookie:

  • Contains no personally identifiable information
  • Is not used for tracking or analytics
  • Is not accessible to third-party scripts
  • Expires automatically when your browser session ends

We do not use persistent cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookie services (including Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar).

7. Data Retention

Quote request submissions and contact inquiries are retained for a reasonable period to facilitate follow-up and service delivery. If you become a client, information relevant to your service engagement is retained for the duration of the relationship and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and accounting purposes.

Server access logs are retained for security purposes and are periodically purged. We do not retain data beyond what is operationally or legally necessary.

8. Data Security

We take the security of your information seriously — it is our profession. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Our systems are subject to the same security standards we apply to client environments.

All data transmitted to this website is encrypted in transit via TLS. Contact form submissions are delivered directly to our internal team via server-side email and are not stored in a public-facing database.
